Pastoral Care

All students, created in the image of their Maker, are of eternal worth and significance; thus Academy students have the right to a school in which they can develop their talents and feel comfortable and secure. No student should be made to feel inferior or peculiar because of gender, ethnic background or religious affiliation.

At Lilydale Adventist Academy we aim to:

• Create a happy, safe and secure environment that will nurture all students and assist them in reaching their potential in a wide range of areas;
• Provide support for students dealing with personal issues that impact on adolescent development;
• Ensure that all students feel safe and secure while at LAA;
• Ensure that staff model the love of Christ while carrying out their daily duties;
• Implement strategies that develop and enhance students’ self-esteem, well being and sense of belonging.
